Hi I'm Petrichor! My Pen Name is technically Lumin Petrichor but I like Petrichor :) I'm 26 and I'm aromantic and agender. I use it/its pronouns as well as corvid/corvidself (crows and ravens are absolutely beautiful to me).
I'm recovering from trauma from tumblr currently. I left there for months and I started to feel more comfortable and less anxious and then I recently (briefly) went back on there and THAT was a fucking mistake. Tumblr users are absolutely viscious and will tear you down over small, stupid shit. Anyway, won't be doing that again. I recently read a work by yourlibrarian on here about how Ao3 is directly influenced by tumblr culture and I have to say, I agree. I've been feeling uncomfortable with that site for a number of years now and I couldn't put my finger on why but that might just be it. So I might be thinking about moving here. Especially because I want to write and post original works as well as fan works.
So I'll probably be moving ship to SquidgeWorld and Dreamwidth. There might be less interaction being smaller sites, but, I'm tired of feeling like I'm going to have an anxious episode every time I run into someone online. Less people on these sites, sure, but a better atmosphere. I can't live my life being a nervous wreck.
