Two things wrong, of course: 1) she forgot she had voicemail (and that older mobile) for two thousand years, so she's running a bit late, and 2) the TARDIS has her own idea of when and where they should go first...as usual.

The Doctor has companions so he won't be left alone with his own thoughts. Companions, however, actually need sleep, so there goes that idea.
(This story is loosely tied to the series Innocuous Juxtapositions in Time and Space, at least in regards to someone trying to think about their age and basically doing it backwards, but was meant originally as a standalone.)
