After refusing Mulder's resignation in One Breath, Skinner deals with the memories stirred up by talking about Vietnam.
Comments: As with most of my stories I have been posting to this archive, this was written several years ago. This and my two Starsky and Hutch stories -- I Did Not Go and The Wall were written as my own poor attempts to understand the Vietnam conflict through the eyes of these characters so many of us love. However, with the current war and political situation, it just feels appropriate to me to repost at this time. There are those among us who may not support the war, the reasons behind it or the people who are in charge, but I hope we can always support the people who are on the front line, doing their duty and in that process, possibly giving their lives. -
