    Summary

There haven’t been Vhett children with Vizsla blood since the Mandalorian Wars were in living memory. There has never been a Vhett elected Mand’alor.

The only Mand’alore the Fetts have in their history married in. To the point the clan is almost a hidden pedigree. If Mando’ade back then cared about it, it would have been enough to have many Fetts elected after. But instead, they’re only known to the general population as descendents of Cassus Vhett. Now days, there’s more care, but unless you’re interested in other clans’ genealogy or you’re related to Jaster Mereel, history nut that he is, you wouldn’t know.

Despite everything, he still surprises her and leans over, taking her hands and squeezing them. “I still want to say the riduurok with you, though.”

“You’ll risk getting pulled into this mess?” she asks.

He shrugs. “I know what I’m signing on for.”

She squeezes his hands back. “Then I want to, too.”

Utrelsor Vizsla builds her life as a Fett and watches the family she was born into fall apart.

    Summary

Who grows our food and makes our clothes,
    Who mines our beskar ore?
Do you think we are all soldiers,
    Who know nothing but war?
No, this has never been so,
    Mandalore is more!

Originally written centuries ago by a disgruntled wandering Mando’ad Lore-Keeper tired of aruetiise constantly assuming they were a bounty hunter, hired body guard, or thug, this song remains popular to this day as a rousing tavern and campfire song, and occasionally as a gleeful osik-stirrer when played in non-mando cantinas. It has continued to be popular throughout the years within every Mando’ade political faction but for the notable exception of Death Watch, which certain people consider enough of a commentary on their goals and ethics as to not need elaboration. To this day, nearly all Mando’ade know at least one version of this song.
