Summary
A ship of Earth crashes onto PERN. It has survivors and it brings disruption to peaceful people of PERN would have little expected. What will be the fate of three soldiers on a world that has forsaken so much of its Earthly origins?
This tale has gone Adopt-A-Fic! While I will be inputting new chapters, I would very much like to have a co-writer who might like to take on other story arcs that meld into this tale. Here's a chance to become a Weyrleader/woman of PERN without too much trouble. The only caveat is that Angela and Zoeth are taken. Sorry!

This isn't canon; I made it up because there has been so much research recently that links mental disorders to malfunctions in brain chemistry. I just figured the Pernese would lump brain and mind together as far as healing goes. -
